Great Grandma Christine came to visit Haiden from North Dakota. Tonight we had 4 generations together from Haiden's Icelandic heritage.

Uncle Parker came to visit Haiden from Tokyo! YOROSHII!!

Uncle Greg came to visit Haiden. Haiden seemed to really like his magic baby hold! I will have to try it out soon!

We took Haiden to Agua Verde the other day for a quick lunch. This is his typical expression when he is riding in the car. He's not upset, but not exactly happy either. Maybe a little concerned.

Haiden slept in his crib last night for the first time! Haiden was alone in his own bedroom, in his own big-boy crib. No baby bassinets for him. . . well at least for 40 minutes.

We are so happy that Spring is almost here so that we can take Haiden on lots of dog walks through the neighborhood!

Haiden went on his first walk in the Baby Bjorn today. Jolene walked the dogs and I carried him. We walked up and around Fremont hill and it was nice for all of us to get some excercise together! We arrived back home just as the sun was setting, it was quite lovely. For the first half of the walk, Haiden was awake and very happy looking around. I pulled branches from all the blossoming cherry and pear trees we came across to his nose and he would get still and concentrate on smelling the fragrant blossoms. I had him smell some rosemary bushes and pine trees as well. He fell asleep after awhile and was quite content.

Uncle Paul came to visit from Boise, Idaho.

Haiden is getting bigger! Almost every day he has about 3 hours of happy awake time in the morning. For the last few days, I (John), get to hang out with him while Jolene gets some much needed sleep. He loves staring at faces and patterns. He is cooing a lot more and communicating in more ways than crying!

Haiden still has a bit of growing to do to fit into his jogging outfit.

Haiden's favorite toy is his giraffe. He will stare and stare at it. Eventually, he reaches out and knocks it over. He thinks it’s pretty cool.
