It was a beautiful day in Seattle today, so naturally, Haiden and I went to the local park to take off our shoes and play in the grass! It reached 84 today!! Pretty hot for May in Seattle. Anyway, we had a great time and it was really tough to leave.

Our Mother's Day brunch ended with Strawberry Shortcake for the adults and red & blue whipped cream for Haiden. He had a blast with it! Novice parents learned a lesson though: whipped cream can travel a long way across a dining room when aggressively slapped!

This is the perfect tree for our Treehouse, Dad!!

"Stop & Go"

Just a goofy dinner shot . . . he was eating strawberries for dessert and I was messing with his hair. Strawberries are one of the only things that make him say 'MMMMmmmmm'.

Haiden thinks that hikes are boring.

I really liked how Jolene and Haiden looked in the original image, but found it awkward with so many rows of tulips. I think this cropped version is a lot better and keeps the intensity of the tulips but does not overwhelm the image.
